Computer Systems Analyst – Junior

Mission Multiplier is seeking a Junior Systems Analyst capable of analyzing science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems. They will analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. Additionally, they must analyze or recommend commercially available software. Candidates must possess and apply fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments. While under supervision, they must display work that requires practical experience and training.

About this Job

This is a full-time, contract-based role, currently approved for a work from home status, where the selected applicant filling the position would be responsible for computer systems analyst activities listed below in support of the proposed IRS Safeguards subcontracted between Mission Multiplier and Booz Allen Hamilton.


  • Improve and support computer systems
  • Analyze and support user interface including processing and system capability issues
  • Recommend and install secure system upgrades and programs to improve system
  • Monitor and manage vital electronic infrastructure
  • Perform helpdesk level support and assistance to the security team
  • Develop, implement and monitor enterprise information security
  • Maintain a current understanding of the IT threat landscape for the industry
  • Constantly update the cybersecurity strategy to leverage new technology and threat information
  • Assist lead in briefing the executive and field teams on status all current projects/ tasks during weekly tag-ups


  • Two (2) + years of experience in a combination of cyber, information security, computer science, and/or networking related field
  • Ability and willingness to travel if needed
  • Excellent knowledge of information security principles and best practices
  • Strong background and experience in systems Security, IT strategy, and security architecture
  • Excellent written, verbal, and nonverbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences at all levels of the organization, as well as third-party executives and government agencies
  • Interest and the ability to serve as a hands-on leader
  • Knowledge of Microsoft O365 and its full suite of applications
  • A track record of assessing threat and vulnerability from a business perspective as well as a technical perspective; and the ability to develop and champion affordable, efficient and timely security architectures and solutions that support the growth of the enterprise’s business


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related field required, Advanced degree preferred
  • SEC+ or ability to obtain within 6-months of offer (Required)
  • Three (3) additional years of experience in lieu of a college degree will be considered
