In a testament to its Cybersecurity capabilities, Mission Multiplier, located in Huntsville, Alabama, has been awarded a $3.4M prime contract by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), a key agency within the Department of Commerce. This procurement was led by CEO, Jamie Miller, and Philomena Compton, Capture and Business Development Leader at Mission Multiplier. Mission Multiplier teamed with and will be supported throughout the contract by our exceptional teammates: Millennium, and CGI Federal. The scope of the engagement is to provide expert Purple Team services to help improve the USPTO’s Cybersecurity posture.
The contract award comes as a result of a competitive bidding process beginning with a technical RFI, followed by a down selection to six companies completing a rigorous RFQ and Oral Evaluations. Mission Multiplier emerged victorious from a pool of six bidders. Mission Multiplier’s services will be delivered under the GSA MAS (General Services Administration Multiple Award Schedule) contract vehicle utilizing their HACS (Highly Adaptive Cybersecurity Services) in all five awarded areas of Cybersecurity. Mission Multiplier will leverage their expertise in the NAICS category 541519, which focuses on other computer-related services. The delivery order is set to commence in mid-September 2024, with a scheduled completion date of September 2, 2027.
Mission Multiplier will deliver innovative Purple Team services, which involves a integrative approach to Cybersecurity where red teams (threat hunters/cyber attackers) and blue teams (cyber defenders) work together to enhance the overall security capability and reduce risk. This method not only identifies vulnerabilities but also strengthens defenses through practical, hands-on exercises and real-world cyber (attacks) simulations and side-by-side training; so that both blue team members and application developers can have access to recommendations for best protecting the USPTO environment and secure all applications.
The award underscores Mission Multiplier’s growing reputation and expertise in the field of Cybersecurity and red and purple team engagement. By securing this contract, the firm reinforces its role as a pivotal player in safeguarding the integrity of intellectual property and sensitive information managed by the USPTO.
