There are two things that make Huntsville unique among other cities. First, it’s a tech-tropolis for business and military institutions. Second, it is home to the National Cyber Summit.

This year’s National Cyber Summit will be held June 5-7 in Huntsville’s Von Braun Center. The Summit is the preeminent annual event for cyber training, education, and workforce development aimed at protecting our nation’s infrastructure from the ever-evolving cyber threat. The summit provides training sessions, business development opportunities, management presentations, and top-notch keynotes to address modern cyber threats and better prepare for the future.

What kind of stuff can we expect to see at the National Cyber Summit? Well, the short answer is: a lot.

The long answer is that we will learn about things like routing and switching, discovering flaws in a system, and blockchains. These are exceptional, expert-taught training sessions for cyber professionals, students, and other interested parties.

Among the keynote speakers will be the Associate Deputy Director of the FBI, Paul Abbate, who oversees criminal and cyber investigations. The other keynotes will feature big names from organizations like Google, Crowdstrike, NASA, and NIST. These keynotes, as well as luncheons and a variety of other cybersecurity-related activities, will be spread throughout the three days of the Summit.
